Scholarships in Denmark
As you know there are many different forms of scholarships according to conditions and funding. In Denmark; scholarships appeal both graduate and non-graduate students. If your course is related with Danish language you have a different scholarship option due to Culture Agreements Programme. These are:
- The Danish Summer Language Scholarship: It is available for graduate and under graduate international students both. This scholarship provides all tuition fees of students and also pays 5000 DKK for living expenses.
- The Long-Term Scholarships Programme: This programme appeals exchange students and covers 19 EU countries and 5 non EU countries. Only PhD students can apply this scholarship.
Danish Government also provides some scholarships for international students. This scholarship appeals non EU high qualified students. Each year limited numbers of scholarships are given. Scholarships can be full or partial. Some of them only cover tuition fees while others also cover living expenses. It depends on Danish Institutions that you have applied. Some of the Danish Institutions provide funding is:
- IT University of Copenhagen State Scholarships: This scholarship is given only 3-4 talented students each year. The applicants should be outside EU and EEA. Scholarship covers all tuition fees and also provides some part of living expenses.
- Danish State Strategic Scholarships at Aarhus University: This programme appeals non- EU students. Just a limited number of students are awarded with this scholarship each year. It is available for 2 years master’s degree courses.
